At the Sustainable Engineering Research Group, we are committed to pioneering innovative solutions for a cleaner and more sustainable future. Our research focuses on discovering and developing renewable-based materials and chemicals, including sustainable fuels. We employ pyrolysis technology to convert agricultural residues, plastic waste, textile waste, and methane into valuable biofuels such as hydrogen. Additionally, we focus on post-processing pyrolysis oil to upgrade it into valuable chemicals and fuels, enhancing its applicability in the industrial and energy sectors. Our group also explores electrocatalytic processes for the efficient synthesis of chemicals like ammonia, contributing to green and circular economy initiatives. Driven by a passion for sustainability and cutting-edge engineering, our team collaborates across disciplines to advance cleaner energy solutions and resource-efficient technologies.
